Firm favourites and the latest additions to the UK comedy scene form part of the autumn season line up at the West End Centre, Aldershot.

Appropriately, the season starts with a legendary comedian Mark Thomas who brings his 100 Acts of Minor Dissent to the Westy on Wednesday September 11.

Season comedians set to make an appearance this autumn include Robin Ince on September 25, Graham Fellows on October 11, Simon Munnery on November 2, Paul Sinha on November 20, Craig Campbell on November 27 and Tony Law on November 29.

Some of the hottest new comedians in the country will make themselves known to local audiences via the West End Centre.

A particularly exciting unveiling will be that of Marcel Lucont who visits Aldershot on September 27.

Marcel can be described as a flâneur, raconteur, bon-viveur and provably the greatest UK-based French comedian around. His credentials surely vouch for the latter as he was winner of the 2012 Amused Moose Award for the Best Comedy Show of Edinburgh Fringe and the 2013 FringeWorld Award for Best Comedy.

Marcel has toured the world with his dry wit, bawdy chansons and exquisite sex poetry. He has played the Edinburgh Fringe, Melbourne Comedy Festival, New Zealand Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe, Great Britain, Singapore, Amsterdam, Croatia, Vietnam, Slovenia and Jersey.

More fresh comedic talent will be showcased by Laurence Clark on September 18, Rob Beckett on October 4, James Acaster on October 16, Joe Lycett on November 7, Carl Donnelly on November 21, and and Seann Walsh on December 5.

There is also the brilliant Hecklers Comedy Club, on the second Thursday of every month which returns in September. Comedian writer and regular panellist in shows like Mock the Week, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, 8 out of 10 Cats and QI, Katherine Ryan will headline the first Heckler of the season on September 12.

Plenty to fill your diary with happiness this autumn.
