Gin festival: Beaconsfield's Gin Festival returns with hoards of gin including world exclusives, make your own gin sessions, brand events, live music and street food from the Soul Shack. the festival runs from May 24-May 29. Brook

Village fete: The 69th annual Brook and Sandhills village fete returns to The Pirrie Hall from 1pm-5pm. The family fun event offers a host of activities and games for children of all ages, plus a large number of stalls selling crafts, cakes and produce. The dog show always attracts wide-ranging entries and is great fun to watch, along with fairground rides, shooting gallery, hook a duck, bash the rat, face painting, lucky dip, plate smashing and coconut shy. Farnborough

Donkey derby: The annual charity event returns with donkey races, a funfair, a baby contest, coconut shies, breaking plates, food and drink, stalls and a dog show with prizes. Grayshott

Hidden gardens: Some 20 hidden gardens will be open to the public in Grayshott to raise money for charity. Surrey County Show : The annual event is a family day out you won't want to miss. Adventure trail: RHS Wisley will be running playful adventure trails for one to four year olds from May 1-June 30.
