Sweet-singing ex-talent show star Joe McElderry appears at the Dorking Halls on Thursday May 15, at 8pm, as part of his Set our Soul Alive Tour.

Joe, who won the X Factor’s sixth series in 2009, will perform at the Halls with his live band and will offer a range of rock, pop and classical numbers.

Joe has sold more than two million records worldwide thanks to classics including UK and Irish number one hit single The Climb, which preceded his debut album and number three hit Wide Awake in 2010.

Showing his vocal versatility, Joe returned to our screens in 2011 winning Pop Star to Opera Star and receiving 80 per cent of the vote during the series while fending off fierce competition from Steps’ Claire Richards and Bucks Fizz’s Eurovision star Cheryl Baker.

This is one night not to miss with the multi-talented 22-year-old Joe adding Dorking Halls to his increasingly busy schedule for 2014, which includes releasing his fifth album.

Tickets cost £21 and £19 for concessions. Friends of Dorking Halls go for £16. To book, call the box office on 01306 881717 or visit www.dorkinghalls.co.uk .
