QUEEN fans across the Mail area will be delighted to hear that tribute band Magic will be playing at The Princes Hall, Aldershot on March 13.

Although Magic were formed in 1974, they have been paying homage to the late Freddie Mercury since 1993, and have established themselves to be an exceptional success at the box office.

The fiendishly difficult and imposing Innuendo and Bohemian Rhapsody are just two of the many highlights of the concert, as Magic do the music justice.

The band has appeared at the Queen Fan Club convention in Southport — the first band to do this in the history of the club and at UK and international venues.

A particular highlight in their career was a visit to Moscow in May 1997 at the request of the Russian government. They topped the bill at a concert held in Gorky Park to launch the AIDS awareness campaign ‘Russia without AIDS’.

There is no attempt to emulate Queen visually in their concert, Magic simply celebrate the music of one of the greatest bands of all time.

The show starts at 7.45pm and tickets cost £12 from the box office. Call 01252 329155.
