CAMBERLEY Musical Productions presents Rodgers & Hammerstein's Carousel from May 14-18 at The Camberley Theatre.

The story of Carousel is in turns funny, romantic, dramatic and, in the end, a fantasy.

Julie Jordan is a young working girl who falls helplessly for Billy Bigelow — a free-spirited barker who works for a fairground carousel. He is far from the ideal husband but the two jog along - until Julie finds she is expecting his baby.

Billy realises that desperate measures are needed if he is going to be able to support his family properly.

But his plans go wrong and, in the end, it takes a heavenly intervention to bring things to a satisfactory and uplifting ending.

Tickets cost from £8. Call the CAMUS business manager on 01252 665333 or The Camberley Theatre box office on 01276 707600.
