WITH the summer holidays fast approaching the Princes Hall in Aldershot has lined up an array of shows and workshops to keep children occupied.

On August 19 Splats Circus workshops are in town, with sessions for four-six and seven-11 year olds. Children can learn the basics of juggling, diabolo, plate spinning, bucket stilts and much more.

On August 22 the What A Doddle puppet theatre (pictured) visits the Princes Hall for the first time.

This fantastic show, featuring songs, fun, laughter and audience participation, is followed by a make and do workshop where children can make their own puppet and meet puppets from the show.

On August 29 drama enthusiasts aged seven-11 can take part in a great workshop called Play In A Day. It will give them the opportunity to learn skills, build confidence and work on a short performance for parents at the end of the day.

To round off the summer and beat those back to school blues, Major Mustard returns to the Princes Hall with his version of The Ugly Duckling.

This unusual but delightful version of the Hans Christian Anderson tale calls on music, stories and songs to cure the duckling's sadness.

Tickets for these events are on sale at the Princes Hall box office on 01252 329155 from £4.
