It's England in 1215. The rich are getting richer while the poor struggle to survive.

The leaders are barricading themselves in their castles, oblivious to the rising clamour for change and justice.

Out of the forest comes a champion for the downtrodden, a voice for the powerless, a new hope.

The Ophaboom Theatre Company is well known for its performance in the commedia dell'arte style, a traditional form of masked entertainment with its roots in renaissance Italy.

Using their unique blend of mask, physical characterisation and fast-paced comedy, they explore the striking parallels between the modern world and medieval England.

Tickets cost £9 (£6 concessions, £25 family ticket). Parental discretion is advised as younger children may be scared by the half-masks.
