THE Camberley Theatre is presenting a new show from Hull Truck Theatre, A Pair of Beauties, on May 3 at 8pm.

Written by the acclaimed playwright Gordon Steel (Like A Virgin and the 2001 football epics Studs) this is a bristling new comedy which will appeal to teenagers and adults who are teenagers at heart.

Follow Martine and Natasha as they tackle the slippery road to fame and fortune with buckets of heart-warming emotion and barrels of belly laughs.

Filled with dreams of stardom they abandon school, family and friends to gamble on the big time. However, it soon becomes clear that all that glisters is not gold.

It's not long before the shallow promises of photographer Connor start to wear thin and the girls begin to realise that fame comes at a price.

This eagerly awaited production tackles a gamut of subjects from the seedy side of showbiz to the pressures of growing up and growing old.

Tickets cost £9 (£8 concessions).
