TRESTLE Theatre Company returns to Aldershot's West End Centre on March 28 when it will perform its thought-provoking and incredibly moving piece Island at 8pm.

The show is based on a true story. In February 2000 the two-month-old remains of an old woman were found on a traffic island in the West Midlands. Who was she, and why had nobody reported her missing?

Wild fantasy and grim reality merge in a gently humorous and moving story about chance, life choices and the isolation prevalent in people's lives at the start of the 21st century.

This is a touching glimpse of one woman's journey from early childhood through the highs and lows of adulthood and on to the twilight of her life.

Trestle is a pioneer of the total visual and physical theatre experience. It has been thrilling audiences for 20 years.

Telling stories with a stunning array of masks, animation, music and sheer physical skill, Trestle creates a theatrical experience like no other.
