Cars to star alongside planes at Farnborough Air Show

Racing planes and stunt shows are part of the air show's Automotive Zone

Stunt driver Russ Swift

Planes will not be the only attraction at this year's Farnborough Air Show, with a whole section of the event dedicated to cars.

The Automotive Zone will feature models from manufacturers such as BMW, Fiat and Maserati.

As well as that there will be various stunts including a Morgan three-wheeler racing a Spitfire along the runway and Russ Swift's Mini Display Team showing off their driving skills.

The cars used in Swift's displays are the standard specification Mini which can be bought for use on the road, with only one car having a modification which is a locked differential as it's driven on two wheels.

Swift has also performed at motor shows around the world including New York, Chile and Vietnam as well as at Formula 1 events.

The Jeep 4x4 Off Road Driving Experience will allow visitors to test their driving skills on a specially built track.
