FLEET MP James Arbuthnot has paid back more than £10,000 in controversial expense claims.

The North East Hampshire MP has now repaid a total of £10,106.52 for gardening, household and swimming pool maintenance bills.

It follows a review into expenses and allowances by a Conservative Party panel.
