Plans to demolish Yateley buildings blocked

A PLANNING application, which would have seen two of Yateley’s most historic buildings torn down, has been rejected.

Councillors at Hart district’s planning committee refused permission during a meeting on Wednesday evening.

The plans sought to build a block of flats and retail space in place of the Lloyds pharmacy and George Parker & Sons funeral directors on the Reading Road.
