Hart council leader stays in control

CONSERVATIVE Ken Crookes remains at the helm of Hart District Council, after councillors opted out of a vote of no confidence against the incumbent leader.

The council had been left with no party in overall control after the Conservatives lost three seats in the recent local elections.
