6. Jolly Coopers, Epsom

One of the most family-friendly pubs in Staines, The Swan provides baby-changing facilities, and board games to entertain the kids. 15. Kingfisher on the Quay, Mytchett

Set beside a lake and with fantastic quirky interior decor, the restaurant has a real family feel to it especially on Sundays. Main courses from the children's menu start at £4.75 and include fish fingers and chicken dippers. For dessert there is ice cream and Smarties or chocolate brownie bites, each priced at £2.50. 16. White Horse, Shere

This country pub is located in the idyllic village of Shere close to the tiny bubbling River Tillingbourne. Blockbuster The Holiday starring Cameron Diaz and Jude Law, was shot in the village, which included a key scene in The White Horse. The Heathside began life as a swimming pool and many people still remember the iconic galleon ship which used to be outside. 18. The Yeoman, West Byfleet

Everyone can enjoy what they fancy at the family Harvester restaurant, as smaller portions of their famous freshly cooked grills, sauces and sides are offered to kids. There is also a smaller bites menu – perfect for smaller tums. To help them get their five-a-day, kids can tuck into the unlimited salad bar too.
